Carol Simmons is a Senior Client Officer at Ropes Wealth Advisors. Carol has over 30 years of experience in wealth management, where her career has focused on serving the needs of successful individuals, families, endowments, and foundations. Carol works with clients to help manage the planning and administrative aspects of their wealth, and is dedicated to the highest level of client service. Carol partners with Ropes Wealth investment and financial planning professionals, Ropes & Gray trustees, and clients’ external advisors to ensure that a comprehensive and customized wealth plan is established and implemented.
Before joining Ropes Wealth, Carol spent 12 years at Ropes & Gray LLP in the Private Client Group, mostly recently as a Senior Trust Client Service Administrator. Carol’s entire career has been within the Financial Services industry. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Carol worked at various banks, another law firm and an investment management firm. Over her career, Carol has accumulated operations, personal trust, sales, compliance, management and client service experience.
Carol earned her BS in Business from Suffolk University in Boston and holds various certificates from the American Management Association. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) professional and a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council.
Carol has served as a board member and officer of the South Shore Women’s Business Network (SSWBN) and South Shore Horsemen’s Council. She is a dedicated life member, Habitat Partner and Volunteer in Conservation with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, currently serving as Financial Chair for the Boston Chapter. She resides in Halifax with her husband.
